Knitting fever

Dear readers,
I must admit I am in a bad situation. How? Well, one friend of mine is going to say those famous words soon. That means I must make him a wedding present. I have alreadyd begun. But...but but but! The present is meant to be stitched, and I have a knitting fever at the moment! I'd love to just sit on a sofa and knit that white and yellow baby blanket. Oh well, but I can't leave him without the present. So...I have to share my time between these 2 projects.

Staying quiet was worth the pain

Dear readers,
I am here. And relief washes over me. Why? Because of this. If you see a piece which is totally green, you see a back of a skirt. If you see a piece which is partly green and partly gray, you see a front of a skirt. I am so relieved! So very relieved! Staying quiet was worth it.

I finally got those parts done! Just look at these pictures. If you see the piece with stripes, that is the front. And if you see the totally white piece, that is the back. And the two blue ones...those are the sleeves.

I am here now. I have this old WIP. It has been a passive knitting WIP for a long time. Now I have decided to change it. The back is done. Now I have a front of that sweater as an active knitting WIP. I don't know if the size will be right, but I want to believe so.

Dear readers,
I am so relieved this net connection is back! I have a bag as my active knitting WIP right now. Yesterday was one crazy day. I was sooo worried about being the only one without the net connection. But soon I found out I was not the only one. So that calmed me down a little. And when I plugged my computer on today it worked. But now it is thunder time. I can hear it all right. Let's hope it does not destroy this.
